FPCL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fauji Fertilizer bin Qasim Limited (FFBL). FFBL is a public limited company incorporated in Pakistan under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, and its shares are quoted on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges in Pakistan.

The Company commenced its commercial production effective January 1, 2000.
