FPCL Annual coal requirement is approximately half a million (0.5) Metric Tons. The company has long term Coal Supply Agreement (CSA) to ensure sustained and reliable plant operation.

Power plant has the largest covered coal yard in Pakistan with capacity of 70,000 Metric Tons and is equipped with state of the art Stacker-Reclaimer machines for efficient and smooth supply of fuel to plant.
